Sarah Reader

I grew up in Beaverton, Michigan, USA. After high school, I earned a Bachelor of Science in Education at Central Michigan University with teacher certification in German and art. After graduating with honors, I moved to Germany and took a TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) course and earned a TEFL certificate. I worked for many years as a self-employed English instructor and translator in Dresden. I have also taught German as a foreign language at a high school in Michigan and English, German, and German as a foreign language at many companies, research institutes, and a vocational high school in Mittweida. Alongside my work, I have been studying English and American Studies at the TU Chemnitz with concentrations in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) and English linguistics since 2015. I will graduate with a Master of Arts in 2018. Since the summer semester 2018 I have been employed at Mittweida University of Applied Sciences.
