Business English (1 of 2)

A very good knowledge of English as an economic and business language is indispensable in a globally networked working world. In this module, students expand their foreign language skills in speaking, listening comprehension, reading comprehension and writing with a business/professional focus, such as job applications, HR & job satisfaction, intercultural competence and communication with customers. Students will practise skills in writing job applications, business correspondence and reports, which will enable them to communicate confidently, effectively and stylistically appropriately in English in international work processes after completing the module.

Teaching format: Blended Learning course/seminar

Blended Learning: = inverted classroom = weekly 90-minute face-to-face class AND and weekly 90-minute self-learning unit (using learning platform Moodle)
